Kimberly (Millies) Freeman is a 1988 graduate of MHS. While at MHS she earned 10 varsity letters: golf (4), gymnastics (2), cheerleading (2), and track & field (2). In addition Kim was class president.

In track Kim ran the hurdles and broke the school record in the 300 meter low hurdles.

Golf was Kim's strongest sport. Her senior year she finished second at the State tournament and was named the 1988 Wisconsin Junior Player of the Year.

Beyond high school Kim continued her career in golf at the United States International University in San Diego where she was named Team MVP for two years. She then transferred to Arizona State University where she earned Academic All-American honors and competed on the Pacific 10 Conference All-Star golf team, touring the Orient. Kim also competed in the World University games in Mallorca, Spain. In 1993 Kim was named the Wisconsin Women's Amateur Player of the Year.

In 1994 Kim turned professional and competed in three major championships (1999 U.S. Women's Open, 2002 and 2005 LPGA McDonald's Championship). In 2002 she won the Wisconsin State Women's Open by 10 strokes. In 2003 she earned her LPGA Tour Card. To date Kim has had four hole in ones.

Currently, Kim works and instructs at the family owned Edgewood Golf course in Big Bend. Her husband John is the head pro and together they have a son named Jack.
